The NORDIC PURE 24x30x1M10MiniPleat-2 is a MERV 10 rated Tru Mini Pleat air filter designed for forced-air HVAC systems in residential and light commercial applications. Sold in a 2-pack, each filter carries a nominal size of 24x30x1 with an actual size of 23.5 x 29.5 x 0.75 inches. The filter media is self-supporting polyester constructed with 2.5 times more pleats than standard filters, increasing surface area for improved particle capture while keeping static pressure low. The frame is a two-part, moisture-resistant beverage board construction. Licensed HVAC technicians and experienced DIYers install this filter as part of routine air-side maintenance on gas furnaces, air handlers, and central AC systems.
This filter is suited for residential homes and commercial buildings using standard forced-air HVAC equipment. The MERV 10 rating targets common airborne contaminants including lint, dust, pollen, pet dander, dust mites, and mold spores. The Tru Mini Pleat design maintains adequate airflow even at higher filtration efficiency, making it appropriate for systems where both air quality and system performance are priorities. Nordic Pure recommends replacing this filter every 2 to 3 months depending on usage conditions and environment, such as during renovation or high-dust periods.
Designed as an OEM-style replacement for residential and light commercial forced-air furnace and air handler systems that accept a nominal 24x30x1 filter. Verify the actual filter slot dimensions against the actual size of 23.5 x 29.5 x 0.75 inches before installation.
HVAC technicians and qualified service personnel should power down the air handler or furnace at the thermostat and disconnect power at the breaker before servicing the filter compartment. Confirm airflow direction arrow on the filter frame aligns with system airflow toward the blower before seating the filter. Inspect the filter housing for gaps or bypass paths and seal as needed to prevent unfiltered air from entering the supply side. Follow local mechanical codes and the equipment manufacturer guidelines for filter replacement intervals.
