The NORDIC PURE 21_1/2x23x1ExactCustomM12-6 is a custom-cut, pleated AC furnace air filter rated MERV 12, sized to an actual dimension of 21.5 x 23 x 0.75 inches. It ships in a pack of six and is hand-fabricated to the exact dimensions specified at order time using a heavy-duty, moisture-resistant beverage board frame. The filter media is electrostatically charged to attract airborne particles and will not promote bacterial or mold growth on the filter surface. MERV 12 performance is equivalent to MPR 1500-1900 ratings used by other manufacturers, and this rating is defined by ASHRAE standards. Licensed HVAC technicians and knowledgeable DIYers install this filter in residential and light-commercial air handling systems.
