The NORDIC PURE 20x30x1M8MiniPleat-4 is a MERV 8 mini pleat air filter sold in a 4-pack for use in residential and light commercial HVAC systems. Each filter carries a nominal size of 20x30x1 and an actual size of 19.75 x 29.75 x 0.75 inches. The mini pleat design uses 2.5 times more pleats than a standard filter, which expands the usable media surface area without choking airflow. The polyester filter media is self-supporting and resists mold growth. A two-part, moisture-resistant beverage board frame holds the assembly rigid during installation and throughout the filter service life. Licensed HVAC technicians and experienced DIYers install this filter in standard forced-air furnace and air handler applications.
This filter is suited for residential furnaces, central air handlers, and light commercial HVAC equipment that accept a 20x30x1 nominal filter slot. It captures lint, dust, pollen, pet dander, dust mites, and mold spores at MERV 8 efficiency, which is equivalent to an MPR rating of 600 to 800. The 4-pack format supports a multi-month supply, with a general recommended replacement interval of two to three months depending on occupancy, pets, and local air quality conditions. The filter is manufactured in the USA.
Designed as an OEM-style replacement for residential and light commercial forced-air furnaces and air handlers that accept a 20x30x1 nominal filter. Always verify the actual filter slot dimensions against the actual size of 19.75 x 29.75 x 0.75 inches before installation, as nominal and actual sizes frequently differ across HVAC equipment.
Power down the furnace or air handler at the thermostat and disconnect switch before replacing the filter. Note the airflow direction arrow printed on the filter frame and orient it so the arrow points toward the blower, away from the return air duct. HVAC technicians should confirm the filter slot dimensions match the actual filter size rather than the nominal size to prevent bypass air around the filter media. Replace on a scheduled interval, typically every two to three months, or more frequently in high-dust or high-occupancy environments.
