Product Description

The NORDIC PURE 20x25x4M13+C-2 is a pleated MERV 13 air filter with an integrated activated carbon layer, sold in a 2-pack. It is designed for residential forced-air HVAC systems including gas furnaces, heat pumps, and central air conditioners. The filter uses electrostatically charged synthetic media to capture fine airborne particulates, while the flat-panel activated carbon layer adsorbs odor-causing gases and volatile organic compounds (VOCs). The actual size is 19.5 x 24.5 x 3.63 inches, which fits nominal 20x25x4 filter housings. A licensed HVAC technician or experienced DIYer can install this filter as a direct replacement during routine maintenance.

This filter is suited for residential applications where occupants require enhanced air quality control, including homes with pets, allergy sufferers, or elevated odor concerns. The MERV 13 rating means the media captures more than 90% of 1.0-10.0 micron contaminants and up to 75% of 0.30-1.0 micron contaminants per pass. Targeted particulates include lint, household dust, pollen, dust mites, pet dander, smog, smoke particles, virus carriers, bacteria, mold spores, and allergens. Compatibility

Fits nominal 20x25x4 filter slots with an actual size of 19.5 x 24.5 x 3.63 inches. Note: if replacing a Honeywell or Lennox 20x25x4 filter with an actual depth of 4.38 inches (4 3/8), order the 20x25x5 Nordic Pure model instead. This product is not a fit for housings requiring the 4 3/8 actual depth.

Installation Notes

Power down the HVAC system at the thermostat and, where applicable, at the air handler disconnect before removing the existing filter. Confirm airflow direction arrows on the filter frame align with the system airflow direction before seating the new filter. Verify the actual slot dimensions match the actual filter size of 19.5 x 24.5 x 3.63 inches, not the nominal size, to ensure a proper seal. Inspect and replace on a schedule of every 3 to 6 months, or more frequently during high-use seasons or home renovation activity.
