The NORDIC PURE 20x25x1PM12C-2 is a MERV 12 pleated air filter with an integrated activated carbon layer, designed for residential and light commercial forced-air HVAC systems. The dual-material construction fuses a MERV 12-rated filtration media with a carbon layer, reducing flow restriction while delivering 33% more surface area compared to standard pleated designs. This combination addresses both particulate capture and odor control in a single filter. The filter media is permanently electrostatically charged to attract and hold airborne particles, and the antimicrobial treatment prevents bacteria and mold growth within the media itself. Each pack contains two filters.

This filter is suited for residential furnaces, air handlers, and central air conditioning systems where both high-efficiency particulate filtration and odor reduction are priorities. Typical applications include homes with pets, smokers, allergy sufferers, or occupants sensitive to volatile organic compounds (VOC). It captures lint, household dust, pollen, smoke particles, dust mites, pet dander, virus carriers, mold spores, and similar contaminants. The activated carbon layer adsorbs odorous gases and VOCs with each pass through the system. This filter is rated equivalent to MPR 1500-1900 filters from other manufacturers.
