The NORDIC PURE 20x24x4PM12C-1 is a MERV 12 pleated plus carbon air filter designed for residential and light commercial HVAC systems. It combines a MERV-rated filtration layer fused with an activated carbon layer, reducing flow restriction while adding 33% more surface area compared to standard pleated designs. The activated carbon captures odorous gases, vapors, and volatile organic compounds (VOCs) while the pleated media handles particulate filtration. This filter captures more than 90% of 3.0-10.0 micron contaminants and up to 90% of 1.0-3.0 micron contaminants. HVAC technicians and installers use this filter in forced-air furnace and air conditioning systems where both particulate and odor control are required.

This filter is suited for residential homes and light commercial spaces where occupants need high-level filtration combined with odor reduction. Ideal applications include homes with pets, allergy sufferers, or environments with elevated VOC exposure such as spaces undergoing renovation.
