The NORDIC PURE 20x24x2M7+C-3 is a pleated MERV 7 air filter with an integrated activated carbon layer, designed for residential and light-commercial HVAC systems. The filter media is electrostatically charged synthetic material that captures airborne particulates on contact. A flat panel infused with activated charcoal works alongside the pleated media to adsorb odorous gases and volatile organic compounds (VOCs), including smoke and household odors. The heavy-duty beverage board frame is moisture resistant, and a bonded metal mesh support grid reinforces the pleats under airflow load. This filter is rated MERV 7, equivalent to a MPR 600 rating, and the antimicrobial media inhibits the growth of bacteria and mold within the filter itself. Each box contains 3 filters.
This filter fits standard 20x24x2 filter slots in residential forced-air furnaces, air handlers, and central air conditioning systems. The nominal size is 20x24x2 inches, with an actual size of 19.38 x 23.38 x 1.75 inches. It is suited for homes or offices where odor control alongside particulate filtration is a priority, including households with pets, smokers, or occupants with mild allergy sensitivities. It is a direct drop-in replacement during routine filter maintenance cycles and is recommended to be changed every 30 to 90 days depending on indoor and outdoor air conditions.
Designed as an OEM-style replacement filter for residential and light-commercial forced-air furnaces, air handlers, and central air conditioning systems with a standard 20x24x2 inch filter slot. Verify actual slot dimensions against the actual filter size of 19.38 x 23.38 x 1.75 inches before installation.
Filter replacement is typically performed by HVAC technicians or knowledgeable homeowners as part of routine maintenance. Always power down the furnace or air handler at the disconnect or thermostat before removing the old filter. Confirm airflow direction arrows on the filter frame align with system airflow toward the blower. Filters should be inspected every 30 days and replaced no later than every 90 days, or more frequently in high-dust or high-odor environments.
