The NORDIC PURE 20x20x4M13-6 is a MERV 13 pleated air filter sold in a six-pack, designed for residential and light-commercial HVAC systems. The filter uses electrostatically charged, hypoallergenic, antimicrobial synthetic media to capture airborne particulates on each pass. At MERV 13 performance, it captures more than 90% of 1.0-10.0 micron particles and up to 75% of 0.30-1.0 micron particles, targeting lint, household dust, pollen, dust mites, pet dander, smoke particles, smog, mold spores, virus carriers, and bacteria. The frame is a moisture-resistant beverage board construction with a bonded metal mesh support grid that holds pleat shape under airflow. This filter is manufactured in the USA.

This filter fits systems with a nominal 20x20x4 filter slot. The actual dimensions are 19.5 x 19.5 x 3.63 inches, so confirm the actual depth of your existing filter before ordering. This product is intended for standard residential forced-air furnaces and air handlers that accept a 3 5/8-inch actual-depth 20x20x4 filter. It is not a direct fit for units requiring a 4 3/8-inch actual depth, such as certain Honeywell and Lennox units that use a 20x20x5 filter housing. HVAC technicians, indoor air quality contractors, and knowledgeable homeowners typically install and maintain these filters. MERV 13 performance is rated equivalent to MPR 2200-2400.

Compatibility

Installation Notes

Always power down the air handler or furnace at the thermostat and the disconnect before replacing the air filter. Confirm the actual dimensions of the existing filter against the 19.5 x 19.5 x 3.63 inch actual size of this filter before installation - nominal sizing alone is not sufficient for 4-inch depth filters. Airflow direction is typically marked on the filter frame with an arrow and must align with the direction of airflow toward the blower. Nordic Pure recommends changing this filter every 3 to 6 months depending on indoor conditions, occupancy, and the presence of pets or allergens.
