The NORDIC PURE 18x25x1M10MiniPleat-2 is a MERV 10 mini pleat air filter sold in a 2-pack, designed for residential and light commercial HVAC systems including forced-air furnaces and central air conditioning units. The filter uses a self-supporting polyester media engineered with 2.5 times more pleats than standard filters, increasing surface area for particle capture without significantly restricting airflow. The actual dimensions are 17.5 x 24.5 x 0.75 inches, which is the measurement that matters for fit. The heavy-duty two-part beverage board frame is moisture-resistant, and the media is treated to resist mold growth. Licensed HVAC technicians and qualified service professionals typically handle installation, though this filter type is also replaced by knowledgeable building maintenance staff.
This filter is suited for residential homes and commercial buildings using standard one-inch filter slots with a nominal 18x25x1 opening. The MERV 10 rating makes it appropriate for environments where capturing finer particles such as pollen, pet dander, dust mites, mold spores, lint, and dust is a priority. Nordic Pure recommends replacing the filter every 2 to 3 months depending on the environment, such as during periods of home renovation or higher-than-normal dust activity. The 2-pack format supports back-to-back replacement cycles without a separate reorder between changes.
Designed as an OEM-style replacement filter for residential and light commercial forced-air HVAC systems using a nominal 18x25x1 filter slot. Always verify the actual filter opening against the actual size of 17.5 x 24.5 x 0.75 inches before installation, as nominal and actual sizes differ across HVAC equipment.
Power down or set the HVAC system to the off position before removing the existing filter to prevent unfiltered air from circulating during the swap. Confirm airflow direction arrows on the filter frame align with the direction of airflow in the system before seating the filter. Dispose of the used filter in a sealed bag to contain captured particulates. Filter replacement on forced-air systems is typically within the scope of general HVAC maintenance and does not require specialized tools or permits.
