The NORDIC PURE 18x24x2M7-3 is a pleated MERV 7 air filter sold in a 3-pack, designed for use in residential and light commercial HVAC systems including forced-air furnaces and central air conditioning units. Each filter measures 17.38 x 23.38 x 1.75 inches actual size with a nominal size of 18 x 24 x 2 inches. The filter media is electrostatically charged to improve particle capture and is rated MERV 7, which corresponds to an MPR 600 equivalent. The heavy-duty beverage board frame is moisture resistant. HVAC technicians and HVAC service professionals install these filters as part of routine maintenance to protect equipment and improve indoor air quality.
This filter is suited for residential homes, apartments, and light commercial spaces with standard forced-air HVAC systems. It captures large airborne particles including household dust, lint, pollen, mold spores, and pet dander on each pass through the system. It is appropriate for environments where occupants have mild allergies or where pets are present. The manufacturer recommends replacing the filter every 1 to 3 months depending on usage conditions, with more frequent changes in high-dust or high-allergen environments. The 3-pack format supports multiple change intervals without requiring repeat orders.
Designed as an OEM-style replacement filter for residential and light commercial forced-air furnaces and central air conditioning systems using a nominal 18 x 24 x 2 inch filter slot. Verify actual filter compartment dimensions against the 17.38 x 23.38 x 1.75 inch actual size before installation.
Filter installation is performed by HVAC technicians or qualified service personnel as part of standard preventive maintenance. Power down or set the thermostat to the off position before removing the existing filter to prevent unfiltered air from circulating through the system. Note the airflow direction arrow printed on the filter frame and orient the new filter so the arrow points toward the blower. Dispose of the used filter in a sealed bag to contain captured particulate.
