The NORDIC PURE 18x22x1CustomM12-12 is a custom-made MERV 12 pleated air filter designed for residential and light commercial HVAC systems, including central air conditioners and gas or electric furnaces. Rated at MERV 12, this filter captures over 90% of airborne particles between 3 and 10 microns and 80% to 90% of particles between 1 and 3 microns, including dust, pollen, pet dander, mold spores, smoke, bacteria, and virus carriers. The filter uses electrostatically charged media housed in a reinforced two-part beverage board frame that resists moisture. It is hand-cut to a nominal size of 18x22x1 inches with an actual size of 17.5 x 21.5 x 0.75 inches. Licensed HVAC technicians and experienced DIYers handle installation.
