Nordic Pure 18x20x1PolyGreen-12 Merv 6 Air Filter 12-pack

Product Description

The NORDIC PURE 18x20x1PolyGreen-12 is a MERV 6 polyester air filter sold in a 12-pack, designed for residential and light commercial HVAC systems. Each filter measures 17.75 x 19.75 x 0.75 inches actual size, fitting standard 18 x 20 x 1 inch filter slots. Constructed from eco-responsible poly green media, these filters capture dust, pollen, and common airborne particulates at a MERV 6 efficiency level. The polyester construction is domestically manufactured and intended for routine replacement in forced-air heating and cooling systems. HVAC technicians and facilities maintenance personnel typically install these as standard scheduled maintenance items.

These filters are suited for residential furnaces, air handlers, and central air conditioning systems that use a 18 x 20 x 1 inch filter position. The MERV 6 rating makes them appropriate for general-purpose filtration where the primary goal is protecting equipment from dust loading while maintaining adequate airflow. The 12-pack format is practical for service contractors stocking multiple units or property managers maintaining several identical systems on a regular replacement schedule.

Installation Notes

Air filter replacement is typically performed by HVAC technicians or qualified maintenance personnel as part of a scheduled service interval. Set the system to the off position at the thermostat before removing the existing filter to prevent unfiltered air from being drawn through the system during the swap. Confirm airflow direction arrows on the filter frame align with the direction of airflow toward the blower before closing the filter compartment. Dispose of the used filter per local waste guidelines.
