The NORDIC PURE 18x20x1PM12C-3 is a pleated MERV 12 air filter with an integrated activated carbon layer, sold in a pack of three. The dual-material construction fuses the MERV-rated filtration media with a carbon layer, delivering 33 percent more surface area compared to standard pleated designs. This combination captures airborne particulates while the activated carbon adsorbs odorous gases, vapors, and volatile organic compounds (VOCs). The filter uses permanently electrostatically charged media that acts as a magnet to attract and hold dust and allergens. Licensed HVAC technicians and property maintenance professionals install these filters in residential and light commercial forced-air heating and cooling systems.

This filter is designed for residential and light commercial HVAC applications where both particulate control and odor reduction are required.
