The NORDIC PURE 18x20x1M11MiniPleat-12 is a MERV 11 rated Tru Mini Pleat air filter sold in a box of 12 for residential and light commercial HVAC systems. Each filter carries an actual size of 17.75 x 19.75 x 0.75 inches, fitting nominal 18x20x1 filter slots. The synthetic polyester fiber media is self-supporting and engineered with 2.5 times more pleats than standard filters, increasing usable surface area for particle capture without significantly restricting airflow. The two-part, moisture-resistant beverage board frame adds structural durability across the filter service life. A licensed HVAC technician or building maintenance professional typically handles bulk filter replacement in commercial applications.
These filters are suited for forced-air furnaces, central air conditioning systems, and air handlers in both residential and light commercial settings. The MERV 11 rating makes them appropriate for environments where capture of finer particles is a priority, including homes with pets, allergy concerns, or ongoing renovation activity. The supplier equates the MERV 11 rating to an MPR range of 1000 to 1200. Replacement every 2 to 3 months is recommended, though environments with high dust loads or active construction may require more frequent changes.
Designed as an OEM-style replacement for residential and light commercial forced-air HVAC systems accepting a nominal 18x20x1 filter. Always verify the actual filter slot dimensions against the actual size of 17.75 x 19.75 x 0.75 inches before installation, as nominal and actual filter sizes frequently differ across equipment brands.
Power down or set the thermostat to off before removing the old filter to prevent unfiltered air from being drawn through the system during the swap. Note the airflow direction arrow printed on the filter frame and orient the replacement filter so the arrow points toward the blower. Dispose of the used filter in a sealed bag to contain captured particulates. Follow the equipment manufacturer service interval recommendations alongside the 2 to 3 month general guideline.
