The NORDIC PURE 18x18x2PM12C-3 is a MERV 12 pleated plus activated carbon air filter sold in a 3-pack for residential and light-commercial HVAC systems. The filter uses a dual-layer media where the MERV 12 pleated material is fused with an activated carbon layer, reducing flow restriction while increasing surface area by 33 percent. The carbon layer captures odorous gases and volatile organic compounds (VOCs), while the permanently electrostatically charged pleated media traps fine particulate matter. The filter media is antimicrobial and will not support the growth of bacteria or mold. Nominal size is 18x18x2 inches with an actual size of 17.75 x 17.75 x 1.75 inches.

This filter is suited for residential forced-air furnaces and central air conditioning systems where both odor control and high particulate filtration are required. It is well-suited for households with pets, smokers, allergy sufferers, or occupants sensitive to VOCs and airborne contaminants.
