Nordic Pure 18x18x1M16-2 Merv 16 Air Filter 2-pack

Product Description

The NORDIC PURE 18x18x1M16-2 is a MERV 16 pleated air filter designed for residential and commercial HVAC systems where high-efficiency particulate filtration is required. Rated at MERV 16, this filter captures extremely fine particles including smoke, bacteria, mold spores, pet allergens, and ultrafine pollutants. The filter ships in a 2-pack with actual dimensions of 17.75 x 17.75 x 0.75 inches. A reinforced 2-part frame resists bending and bowing over the service life of the filter. Licensed HVAC technicians and building facility staff typically specify this grade of filtration for sensitive occupant environments.

This filter is suited for forced-air heating and cooling systems in both residential and light commercial applications where indoor air quality demands exceed standard filtration levels. Environments with allergy sufferers, pets, or elevated particulate concerns benefit from the MERV 16 rating. Nordic Pure recommends replacing 1-inch filters every 30 to 90 days depending on local conditions and system runtime. The filter fits any standard filter slot sized for an 18x18x1 nominal filter.

Always power down the air handler or furnace at the disconnect or breaker before accessing the filter compartment. Confirm airflow direction indicated on the filter frame matches the system airflow direction before seating the filter. Nordic Pure recommends a replacement interval of 30 to 90 days for 1-inch filters, with shorter intervals in high-particulate or high-runtime environments.
