Nordic Pure 16x27x1CustomM13+C-6 Merv 13 Carbon Filter

Product Description

The NORDIC PURE 16x27x1CustomM13+C-6 is a custom-cut, MERV 13 plus carbon pleated air filter designed for residential and light commercial HVAC systems. It combines electrostatically charged synthetic filter media with an activated carbon layer to capture airborne particulates and reduce odors in a single pass. The actual dimensions are 15.5 x 26.5 x 0.75 inches, making it a precision fit for non-standard filter openings. MERV 13 filtration captures over 90% of particles between 1 and 10 microns and 50% to 70% of particles between 0.3 and 1 microns. This six-pack is manufactured in the USA and ships as a non-returnable custom order.

This filter is suited for residential forced-air furnaces, central air conditioning systems, and air handlers where a non-standard 16x27x1 nominal slot is present. The carbon layer makes it a practical choice for spaces with pet odors, cooking smells, or light smoke. The reinforced two-part frame construction supports consistent airflow and structural integrity across the full service interval. Nordic Pure recommends replacing the filter every 30 to 90 days depending on indoor and outdoor air quality conditions. Because this is a custom size, installers should verify the actual filter slot dimensions with a tape measure before ordering.

• Electrostatically charged synthetic media improves particle attraction without significantly increasing static pressure
• Reinforced two-part frame maintains filter shape and seal over the full service life
• Actual size 15.5 x 26.5 x 0.75 inches - custom-cut to fit non-standard filter openings
• Made in the USA; sold in a six-pack

Compatibility

Custom-fabricated to fit HVAC systems with a nominal 16x27x1 filter slot. Verify the actual open dimensions of your filter rack before ordering, as custom sizes are not eligible for returns. Not interchangeable with standard stock-size filters.

Installation Notes

Installation is performed by HVAC technicians or qualified service personnel. Power down or set the thermostat to off before opening the filter compartment. Confirm airflow direction arrows on the filter frame align with the direction of airflow toward the blower. Because this is a custom-cut filter, no field trimming should be required if the correct nominal size was ordered.
