Product Description

The NORDIC PURE 16x25x3ABM13-1 is a MERV 13 pleated air filter designed as a direct replacement for Trion Air Bear Cub filters requiring an actual 3-inch depth. Rated MERV 13, it captures lint, household dust, pollen, dust mites, pet dander, smoke particles, smog, virus carriers, bacteria, and mold spores. The filter media is electrostatically charged synthetic material with antimicrobial treatment to inhibit bacterial and mold growth inside the filter. The frame is a moisture-resistant beverage board construction reinforced with a bonded metal mesh support grid and two strips of foam tape on two sides for a snug fit. HVAC technicians and mechanical contractors install this filter in residential and light-commercial forced-air systems.

This filter fits forced-air furnaces, air handlers, and whole-house filtration systems that accept a 3-inch-depth cartridge with a nominal size of 16x25x3 inches. The actual dimensions are 15.81 x 24.31 x 3 inches, with the depth being exactly 3 inches rather than fractionally undersized as is common with many competing filters. Installation Notes
