Product Description

The NORDIC PURE 16x25x1M14-24 is a MERV 14 pleated air filter sold in a 24-pack, designed for residential and commercial HVAC systems where high-efficiency particulate removal is required. The filter captures airborne dust, pollen, mold spores, pet dander, smoke particles, bacteria, dust mite debris, smog, and virus carriers on each pass through the system. The electrostatically charged filter media attracts and holds fine particles without promoting bacterial or mold growth on the media itself. The heavy-duty beverage board frame is moisture resistant. MERV 14 filtration is equivalent to MPR 2800 per ASHRAE standards.

This filter is suited for residential high-efficiency furnaces and air handlers as well as light commercial HVAC units that are rated to handle MERV 14 filters or higher. Systems originally designed for HEPA-grade filtration are good candidates. It is appropriate for occupants with allergies, asthma, or other respiratory sensitivities, and for environments where indoor air quality standards must meet commercial requirements.
