The NORDIC PURE 16x25x1M10MiniPleat-4 is a MERV 10 mini pleat air filter designed for forced-air HVAC systems in residential and light commercial applications. Each pack contains 4 filters with a nominal size of 16x25x1 inches and an actual size of 15.5 x 24.5 x 0.75 inches. The polyester filter media is self-supporting and engineered with 2.5 times more pleats than standard filters, increasing surface area for particle capture without significantly restricting airflow. The two-part, moisture-resistant beverage board frame adds structural rigidity and resists degradation in humid duct environments. Licensed HVAC technicians and building maintenance professionals typically install this filter in residential furnaces, air handlers, and central AC systems.
This filter is suited for residential homes and light commercial buildings where air quality control is a priority. It captures common airborne contaminants including lint, dust, pollen, pet dander, dust mites, and mold spores. The MERV 10 rating is equivalent to MPR 800-1000, making it an effective mid-range filtration option for environments with pets, allergy concerns, or moderate particulate loads. The pack-of-4 format supports a standard filter replacement schedule of every 2 to 3 months depending on system usage and environmental conditions.
Designed as an OEM-style replacement for residential and light commercial forced-air HVAC systems using a 16x25x1 nominal filter slot. Always verify actual filter cavity dimensions against the actual size of 15.5 x 24.5 x 0.75 inches before installation, as nominal and actual sizes differ.
Filter installation should be performed by a qualified HVAC technician or trained maintenance professional. Always shut down the air handler or furnace at the system disconnect before removing or inserting a filter. Confirm airflow direction arrows on the filter frame align with the direction of airflow toward the blower. Replace filters every 2 to 3 months or more frequently in high-particulate environments to maintain system efficiency and air quality.
