The NORDIC PURE 16x24x1M14-3 is a MERV 14 pleated air filter sold in a 3-pack for residential and light commercial HVAC systems. Each filter measures 15.5 x 23.5 x 0.75 inches actual size, fitting nominal 16x24x1 filter slots. The electrostatically charged, hypoallergenic filter media captures airborne dust, pollen, mold spores, pet dander, smoke particles, smog, dust mite debris, and bacteria on every air pass. The heavy-duty beverage board frame is moisture resistant and holds its shape under extended use. MERV 14 efficiency is equivalent to MPR 2800 on other rating scales. These filters are rated for systems designed to handle MERV 14 filtration and above, including newer high-efficiency units.
This filter pack is suited for residential furnaces, central air conditioning systems, and light commercial air handlers that are rated to support MERV 14 and above. The high filtration efficiency makes it a strong choice for occupants with allergies, asthma, or other respiratory sensitivities, and for spaces where indoor air quality is a priority such as offices, clinics, and homes with pets. Because MERV 14 filters impose greater airflow restriction than lower-rated options, the HVAC system must be confirmed compatible before installation. Replacing filters every 1 to 3 months is recommended, with more frequent changes in high-use or high-particulate environments.
Designed for residential and commercial HVAC systems with nominal 16x24x1 filter slots that are rated to support MERV 14 filtration or higher, including newer high-efficiency systems designed for HEPA-class filtration.
HVAC filters of this type are installed by HVAC technicians or knowledgeable end users after powering down the air handler or furnace. Confirm the system airflow rating supports MERV 14 before installation, as high-efficiency filters increase static pressure and can strain undersized blower motors. Install with the airflow arrow on the filter frame pointing toward the blower. Replace every 1 to 3 months depending on system load and air quality conditions.
