The NORDIC PURE 16x22x1ExactCustomM8-6 is a custom-cut, pleated MERV 8 air filter designed for residential and light commercial HVAC systems, including forced-air furnaces and central air conditioners. Sold in a 6-pack, each filter measures 16 x 22 x 0.75 inches actual size. The filter media is electrostatically charged to attract and hold airborne particles, and it is built on a moisture-resistant beverage board frame. MERV 8 efficiency corresponds to an MPR 800 rating on competing scales, and is rated to capture 70 to 85 percent of airborne particles in the 3 to 10 micron range.
