The NORDIC PURE 16x20x5HM13-1 is a MERV 13 pleated air filter designed for residential and light-commercial forced-air HVAC systems. It carries a nominal size of 16x20x5 inches with an actual size of 15.88 x 19.63 x 4.38 inches, making it a direct fit for deep-media filter housings that accept a 4 3/8-inch actual depth. The filter media is hypoallergenic, antimicrobial, and electrostatic, capturing lint, household dust, pollen, smoke particles, dust mites, pet dander, virus carriers, mold spores, smog, and other airborne contaminants on each pass. MERV 13 performance is equivalent to an MPR 2200-2400 rating. Licensed HVAC technicians and knowledgeable homeowners install this filter as part of routine preventive maintenance.
