The dual-material construction fuses MERV-rated filtration media with a carbon layer, reducing flow restriction while increasing surface area by 33 percent. This design captures airborne particulates and simultaneously adsorbs odorous gases and volatile organic compounds (VOCs). The permanently electrostatically charged, antimicrobial media acts as a magnet for fine particles while resisting bacterial and mold growth. Licensed HVAC technicians and building maintenance professionals install this filter in forced-air heating and cooling systems.
