The NORDIC PURE 15x20x1M12-24 is a MERV 12 pleated air filter sold in a 24-pack, sized nominally at 15x20x1 inches with an actual size of 14.5 x 19.5 x 0.75 inches. These filters are rated to capture lint, household dust, pollen, smoke particles, dust mites, pet dander, virus carriers, mold spores, and other airborne contaminants. The filter media is electrostatically charged and carries an antimicrobial, hypoallergenic treatment. The frame is constructed from heavy-duty, moisture-resistant beverage board. MERV 12 performance is equivalent to MPR 1500-1900 on competing rating scales. Licensed HVAC technicians and building maintenance professionals typically specify this filtration tier for residential and light commercial systems.
This filter is well-suited for residential forced-air furnaces and central air conditioning systems as well as light commercial HVAC applications where elevated indoor air quality is required. MERV 12 filtration is commonly specified in environments with occupants who have moderate allergies or asthma, homes with pets, or spaces subject to renovation dust. The 24-pack format supports scheduled maintenance programs and bulk replacement cycles for multi-unit properties or service contractors managing multiple accounts. Replacement interval is typically every one to three months depending on system load and indoor air conditions.
Designed for forced-air furnace and central AC filter slots with a nominal opening of 15x20x1 inches. Verify fitment against the actual filter slot dimensions before installation; actual filter size is 14.5 x 19.5 x 0.75 inches. Nominal size printed on the filter frame may differ from the physical slot measurement.
Installation is performed by HVAC technicians or qualified maintenance personnel. Power down the air handler or furnace at the disconnect or thermostat before removing the used filter. Note the airflow direction arrow printed on the filter frame and orient the replacement filter so the arrow points toward the blower. Filters should be inspected monthly and replaced on a one-to-three month cycle, or more frequently in high-load environments such as pet-occupied or allergy-sensitive spaces.
