The NORDIC PURE 14x30x1M14+C-6 is a six-pack of 14x30x1 nominal pleated air filters rated MERV 14 with an integrated activated carbon layer. The electrostatically charged synthetic media captures fine particulates while the activated carbon panel adsorbs odorous gases, VOCs, and smoke vapors. The filter ships at an actual size of 13.94 x 29.94 x 0.75 inches. A metal mesh support grid is bonded to the pleats for structural integrity, and the frame is constructed from moisture-resistant beverage board. Licensed HVAC technicians and qualified installers fit these filters in residential and light-commercial forced-air systems.
These filters are suited for residential and light-commercial forced-air HVAC systems that are rated to accept MERV 14 filtration or higher. The MERV 14 rating makes them appropriate for high-efficiency systems, including those designed to accommodate HEPA-grade filtration. The carbon layer adds odor control capability, making these filters a practical choice for households with pets, smokers, cooking odors, or elevated VOC exposure. Because of the higher pressure drop associated with MERV 14 media, the HVAC system must be rated to handle this filtration level before installation.
Designed as a direct-fit replacement for 14x30x1 nominal filter slots in residential and light-commercial forced-air heating and cooling systems rated to accept MERV 14 filters or higher.
HVAC technicians and qualified service professionals should verify the system is rated for MERV 14 or above before installing this filter, as higher-efficiency media increases static pressure drop and can restrict airflow in undersized systems. Always power down the air handler or furnace before removing the old filter and inserting the new one. Confirm airflow direction matches the arrow printed on the filter frame. Nordic Pure recommends replacing the filter every 30 to 90 days depending on indoor and outdoor air quality conditions.
