The NORDIC PURE 14x25x2M14-3 is a MERV 14 rated pleated air filter designed for forced-air HVAC systems in residential and commercial applications. Sold in a 3-pack, each filter measures 13.5 x 24.5 x 1.75 inches actual size with a nominal size of 14x25x2. The electrostatically charged filter media captures airborne dust, pollen, mold spores, pet dander, smoke particles, bacteria, and smog. The heavy-duty beverage board frame is moisture resistant, and the media is antimicrobial to resist bacterial and mold growth on the filter surface. MERV 14 efficiency is equivalent to an MPR 2800 rating.

These filters are suited for residential homes and commercial facilities where elevated air quality control is required. At MERV 14, filtration performance is appropriate for occupants with allergies, asthma, or other respiratory sensitivities, as well as environments with pets or high dust loads. Because MERV 14 filters restrict airflow more than lower-rated filters, the HVAC system must be rated to handle MERV 14 or higher. These filters are also compatible with newer high-efficiency systems designed to accept HEPA-class filtration. Filter replacement every 1 to 3 months is recommended, with more frequent changes in high-traffic or pet-heavy environments.
