Nordic Pure 14x24x2M13+C-12 Merv 13 Carbon Air Filter 12pk

Product Description

The NORDIC PURE 14x24x2M13+C-12 is a MERV 13 pleated air filter with an integrated activated carbon layer, sold in a 12-pack. Rated MERV 13 - equivalent to MPR 2200-2400 - the filter combines electrostatically charged synthetic media with a flat-panel activated charcoal layer to capture fine particulates and adsorb odorous gases and volatile organic compounds (VOCs). Nominal size is 14x24x2 inches with an actual size of 13.5 x 23.5 x 1.75 inches. HVAC technicians and facilities maintenance professionals install these filters in residential and light-commercial forced-air systems.

These filters are suited for residential homes and light-commercial spaces where both fine-particulate removal and odor control are priorities. The activated carbon layer targets smoke, cooking odors, VOCs, and other airborne gases while the pleated MERV 13 media captures lint, household dust, pollen, dust mites, pet dander, mold spores, bacteria, smog particles, and virus carriers. They are a direct drop-in replacement for standard 14x24x2 filter slots and are recommended for replacement every 30 to 90 days depending on occupant and environmental conditions.

Installation Notes

Installation is performed by licensed HVAC technicians or qualified maintenance personnel. Power down the air handler or furnace at the disconnect before removing the existing filter. Confirm airflow direction arrow on the filter frame aligns with the direction of airflow toward the blower. Follow local codes and the equipment manufacturer service guidelines for filter replacement intervals.
