The filter media is electrostatically charged synthetic material that captures airborne particulates, while an integrated flat-panel activated carbon layer adsorbs odorous gases and volatile organic compounds (VOCs). With an actual size of 13.5 x 19.5 x 0.75 inches fitting a nominal 14x20x1 slot, it installs directly into standard furnace and air handler filter racks.
