The NORDIC PURE 14x14x4PM12C-1 is a MERV 12 pleated plus carbon air filter designed for residential and light commercial HVAC systems. It combines a MERV 12 rated filter media with a fused activated carbon layer, delivering dual-function performance: mechanical particle capture and odor reduction in a single filter pass. The dual-layer construction reduces flow restriction while increasing surface area by 33 percent compared to single-media designs. The filter traps contaminants as small as 1.0 microns and captures more than 90 percent of 3.0 to 10.0 micron particles. HVAC technicians and experienced DIYers install this filter in forced-air heating and cooling systems as a drop-in replacement during routine maintenance.

This filter is suited for residential homes and offices where occupants require both high particulate filtration and active odor control.
