The filter media fuses a MERV 10-rated pleated material with a carbon layer, increasing surface area by 33 percent compared to standard pleated designs while reducing flow restriction. The activated carbon attracts and holds odorous gases, vapors, and volatile organic compounds (VOCs). Permanently electrostatically charged media acts as a magnet for airborne particles. The antimicrobial media inhibits the growth of bacteria and mold. Licensed HVAC technicians and knowledgeable installers handle routine filter replacement.
