The NORDIC PURE 14x14x1PCP-6 is a pure carbon pleated air filter rated MERV 8, sold in a 6-pack for residential and light commercial HVAC applications. The filter media is a non-woven polyester base infused with activated carbon derived from charcoal and coconut shells. This construction allows the filter to capture airborne particulates while simultaneously absorbing odors and volatile organic compounds (VOCs) at the molecular level. The nominal size is 14x14x1 inches with an actual size of 13.75 x 13.75 x 0.75 inches. A heavy-duty, moisture-resistant beverage board frame with an internal metal mesh support grid holds the pleated media in place and prevents collapse under normal system airflow.

This filter suits residential forced-air furnace and air conditioning systems where odor control is the primary concern alongside particulate filtration. Common applications include homes with pets, smokers, or frequent cooking, as well as apartments and small offices with odor complaints.
