The NORDIC PURE 13x20x1ExactCustomM14-6 is a custom-cut, MERV 14 pleated air filter designed for residential and commercial HVAC systems. Each filter measures 13 x 20 x 0.75 inches actual size and ships in a pack of six. At MERV 14 efficiency, the filter captures over 90% of airborne particles between 1 and 10 microns, and between 75% and 95% of particles in the 0.3 to 1 micron range. Targeted contaminants include lint, dust, pollen, pet dander, mold spores, smoke, bacteria, virus carriers, and smog. The electrostatically charged pleated media improves particle attraction without promoting bacterial or mold growth on the filter surface. The frame is constructed from heavy-duty, moisture-resistant beverage board stock. Licensed HVAC technicians and facilities maintenance professionals are the primary installers.

This filter is suited for residential forced-air furnaces, central air conditioning systems, and commercial air handlers where high-efficiency filtration is required. MERV 14 is comparable to MPR 2800 on competing rating scales. Because of the elevated filtration efficiency and associated airflow restriction, the HVAC equipment must be rated to handle MERV 14 or higher filters. This filter is well matched to newer high-efficiency systems designed for HEPA-grade media. Custom sizing makes it appropriate for units where standard nominal dimensions do not produce a proper fit.
