The NORDIC PURE 12x25x2M13+C-12 is a MERV 13 Plus Carbon pleated air filter sold in a 12-pack for residential and light-commercial HVAC systems. The filter combines electrostatically charged synthetic media with an activated carbon flat panel to capture fine airborne particulates while also adsorbing odorous gases and volatile organic compounds (VOC). The pleated media is rated MERV 13, equivalent to an MPR rating of 2200-2400, and removes particles as small as those carrying viruses, mold spores, and fine smoke. The nominal size is 12x25x2 inches with an actual size of 11.5 x 24.5 x 1.75 inches. The antimicrobial media inhibits bacterial and mold growth within the filter itself.
This filter is suited for forced-air furnace and air handler applications in residential homes and offices where both particle removal and odor control are priorities. It is a strong fit for households with pets, allergy sufferers, or occupants sensitive to smoke and household chemical odors. The 12-pack format supports a full-year or multi-unit supply. The heavy-duty moisture-resistant beverage board frame and internal metal mesh support grid make it appropriate for standard residential duct systems operating under typical static pressure conditions. Licensed HVAC technicians and knowledgeable homeowners performing routine filter maintenance install this product.
Designed as a direct replacement for standard 12x25x2 nominal-size filter slots in residential and light-commercial forced-air furnace, air handler, and central air conditioning systems. Confirm fitment using the actual size of 11.5 x 24.5 x 1.75 inches, as nominal and actual dimensions differ.
Power down the furnace or air handler at the disconnect or thermostat before replacing the filter. Confirm airflow direction arrow on the filter frame aligns with system airflow toward the blower. Nordic Pure recommends replacing this filter every 30 to 90 days depending on indoor and outdoor air quality conditions and any active home improvement work. Dispose of used filters in a sealed bag to contain captured particulates.
