The NORDIC PURE 12x25x1PCP-3 is a pure carbon pleated air filter sold in a 3-pack, rated at approximately MERV 8 efficiency. The filter media is a non-woven polyester base infused with activated carbon derived from charcoal and coconut shells. This design captures large airborne particles while simultaneously absorbing odors and volatile organic compounds (VOCs) at a molecular level. Licensed HVAC technicians and knowledgeable DIYers install these in residential forced-air systems and as pre-filters in commercial HVAC units. The actual size is 11.75 x 24.75 x 0.75 inches, fitting nominal 12x25x1 filter slots.

These filters are suited for residential and light commercial applications where both particulate capture and odor control are required. The activated carbon layer addresses odors from pets, smoke, cooking, garbage, and bathroom sources, as well as gases and VOCs from household cleaning products. Installation Notes
