The NORDIC PURE 12x24x1M11MiniPleat-4 is a MERV 11 mini pleat air filter sold in a pack of four, designed for use in residential and light commercial forced-air HVAC systems. The filter carries a MERV 11 rating, equivalent to MPR 1000-1200, and captures lint, household dust, pollen, pet dander, dust mites, mold spores, smoke particles, virus carriers, and allergens. The mini pleat design incorporates 2.5 times more pleats than standard filters, increasing media surface area while maintaining adequate airflow through the system. The frame is a heavy-duty two-part moisture-resistant beverage board construction, and the media is self-supporting synthetic polyester fiber.
This filter is suited for residential homes and commercial spaces running standard forced-air HVAC equipment including gas furnaces, heat pumps, and central air conditioning systems. The nominal size is 12x24x1, with an actual size of 11.38 x 23.38 x 0.75 inches. For environments with higher dust loads, renovations, or occupants with allergies, replacement every two to three months is the general recommendation. A licensed HVAC technician or knowledgeable service professional typically handles bulk filter replacement contracts, while homeowners and facilities staff commonly handle routine changeouts.
Designed as an OEM-style replacement for any residential or light commercial forced-air HVAC system that accepts a nominal 12x24x1 inch filter. Always verify the actual filter slot dimensions against the actual size of 11.38 x 23.38 x 0.75 inches before installation, as nominal and actual sizes frequently differ across equipment manufacturers.
Power down the air handler or furnace at the disconnect or thermostat before removing the old filter. Note the airflow direction arrow printed on the filter frame and orient the replacement filter so the arrow points toward the blower. Inspect the filter housing for gaps or bypass leakage that would reduce filtration effectiveness. Replace the filter every two to three months under normal operating conditions, or more frequently in high-dust or high-occupancy environments.
