The NORDIC PURE 10x24x1M10MiniPleat-12 is a MERV 10 mini-pleat air filter designed for residential and commercial HVAC systems. Sold in a 12-pack, each filter carries a nominal size of 10x24x1 inches with an actual size of 9.5 x 23.5 x 0.75 inches. The polyester filter media is self-supporting and engineered with 2.5 times more pleats than standard filters, increasing surface area for improved particle capture without significantly restricting airflow. A heavy-duty, two-part moisture-resistant beverage board frame holds the media securely and resists warping in humid conditions. The media also resists mold growth, supporting healthier indoor air quality in occupied spaces.
These filters are suited for residential forced-air furnaces and central air conditioning systems as well as light commercial air handlers where a MERV 10 filtration level is specified. Typical captured particles include lint, dust, pollen, pet dander, dust mites, and mold spores. The MERV 10 rating is equivalent to MPR 800-1000, making these filters appropriate for households with pets or allergy concerns. Filter service life is generally 2 to 3 months depending on occupancy, construction activity, and local air quality conditions.
Designed as an OEM-style replacement filter for residential and light commercial HVAC systems requiring a 10x24x1 nominal filter slot. Always verify the actual filter cavity dimensions against the actual size of 9.5 x 23.5 x 0.75 inches before installation, as nominal and actual filter sizes differ across equipment models.
Filter installation is a standard HVAC maintenance task performed by licensed HVAC technicians or qualified facility maintenance personnel. Always set the system thermostat to the off position and confirm the air handler or furnace blower has stopped before removing or inserting a filter. Confirm airflow direction by checking the arrow printed on the filter frame and orient it to match the direction of airflow toward the blower. Replace filters every 2 to 3 months or more frequently in high-occupancy or post-construction environments.
