The NOMACO PIPEPOLY4 is a 4-inch diameter polyethylene gas pipe supplied in a 250-foot coil, designed for underground natural gas and propane distribution systems. Polyethylene pipe is the standard material for buried gas service lines in both residential and light commercial applications. It is flexible, corrosion-resistant, and suited for direct burial without additional protective coating. Licensed gas fitters and plumbers install this pipe for service laterals, yard lines, and distribution mains where a durable, pressure-rated plastic pipe is required by code.
This pipe is used in underground gas distribution for residential subdivisions, commercial site work, and utility service extensions. The 4-inch diameter and 250-foot coil length make it well suited for main distribution runs and larger service laterals. It is appropriate for natural gas and LP gas systems where polyethylene piping is permitted under applicable codes and utility specifications.
Designed as an OEM-style replacement and standard-use polyethylene gas pipe for underground natural gas and propane distribution systems where 4-inch PE pipe is specified.
Installation must be performed by a licensed plumber or gas fitter in accordance with IFGC, NFPA 54, and applicable local utility requirements. Shut off and lock out the gas supply upstream before making any connections to an active system. Use only approved electrofusion or mechanical fittings rated for polyethylene gas pipe — solvent cement is not permitted on PE gas pipe. Minimum burial depth and pressure testing requirements are governed by local code and utility standards.
