The NOGA SP2510 is a steel chip hook designed for clearing metal chips, swarf, and debris from machined workpieces, fixtures, and machine tool work areas. The tool measures 300mm (approximately 11.8 inches) in overall length, giving the user adequate reach to clear chips safely without direct hand contact with sharp material. The black-finished steel construction provides corrosion resistance suitable for shop environments. The Nogagrip handle delivers a secure, non-slip hold during use. This tool is standard equipment for machinists, CNC operators, and lathe or mill operators working in production and job shop settings.
The SP2510 chip hook is used in metalworking and machining environments where loose chips accumulate around cutting tools, vises, and workholding fixtures. It is appropriate for use on manual lathes, milling machines, CNC machining centers, and similar machine tools. The tool is used to remove chips before part inspection, between operations, or during machine cleanup. It is suited for both production shops and toolroom applications where chip management is a routine part of machine operation.
Designed as a general-purpose chip hook for use in metalworking and machining applications across a range of machine tool types.
No installation is required for this hand tool. Machinists and machine operators should ensure the machine spindle is stopped and all moving parts are at rest before using a chip hook near the work area. Do not use the chip hook to clear chips while the machine is in operation. Keep the tool clean and inspect the hook tip periodically for deformation that could reduce effectiveness or create a safety hazard.
