The NOGA NF61003 is a magnetic-base indicator positioner holder designed for dial indicator and test indicator setup in precision measurement and inspection work. Built around an articulated arm configuration, it gives machinists, tool-and-die technicians, and quality control professionals fine positional control when zeroing in on runout, alignment, or surface deviation readings. The integrated magnetic base delivers 70 pounds of pull force, keeping the unit firmly anchored to ferrous machine tables, surface plates, and mill or lathe beds. Fine adjustment capability allows precise repositioning of the indicator without losing the base lock, reducing setup time on repeated measurements.
The NF61003 is suited for use in machine shops, toolrooms, and manufacturing inspection environments. It mounts to any flat ferrous surface and accommodates indicator shanks up to 8 millimeters in clamping diameter, making it compatible with the majority of standard dial and test indicators in current trade use. The on/off magnetic base switch allows rapid repositioning across a workpiece or fixture without disturbing the arm geometry. This holder ships with a complete accessory kit ready for immediate deployment in a production or inspection setting.
Designed as an OEM-style indicator positioner holder compatible with standard dial indicators and test indicators using a 6.00 mm or 8.00 mm shank diameter and M5 thread mounting.
Installation requires a clean, flat ferrous surface free of chips, coolant film, or scale to achieve full magnetic pull force. Switch the on/off magnet to the off position before repositioning the base to avoid dragging the unit across precision surfaces. Thread connections use M5 fasteners; do not overtighten articulating joints, as the fine adjustment mechanism is calibrated for hand-tightening only. No electrical power or special tooling is required for setup.
