The NOGA NF60103 is an articulated arm indicator positioner holder designed for precise dial indicator and test indicator placement in metrology and inspection applications. Featuring a built-in fine adjustment mechanism, it allows technicians to make small, controlled positioning changes without disturbing the overall arm setup. The arm measures 178 millimeters in length with an overall decimal length of 4.25 inches. A magnetic base mount secures the unit to ferrous machine surfaces, making it a reliable choice for setup work on mills, lathes, surface plates, and similar equipment. Installation and adjustment require no special tools beyond the included hardware and knobs.
This holder is suited for precision measurement tasks in machine shops, manufacturing facilities, and toolroom environments. It accommodates clamping diameters of 3/8 inch, 6 millimeters, and 8 millimeters, making it compatible with a wide range of dial indicators and test indicators. The articulated arm design allows multi-axis positioning, giving machinists and quality control technicians the flexibility needed for runout checks, surface inspections, and part alignment verification. The unit ships with an M5 to M5 adapter (AD6050), an NF Arms NF60003 arm, a spare knob DG0160, and a zinc cast fine adjustment FA1500.
Compatible with dial indicators and test indicators using clamping diameters of 3/8 inch, 6 millimeters, or 8 millimeters. Includes M5 to M5 adapter AD6050 for broad indicator shank compatibility. Designed for use with NF Arms NF60003. Mounts to any clean, flat ferrous surface suitable for magnetic base attachment.
Mounting to a ferrous surface requires the surface to be clean and flat for reliable magnetic adhesion. Verify the magnetic base is fully engaged and locked before releasing the indicator. Articulated arm joints should be snugged in sequence from the base outward before final fine adjustment to minimize drift. No power source or electrical shutoff is required for this mechanical assembly.
