The NOGA NF3100 is an articulated arm indicator positioner and holder designed to position dial indicators, test indicators, and similar gauging instruments precisely during inspection and measurement tasks. Built from aluminum, the arm features knob-style adjustment for repeatable positioning and includes a fine adjustment mechanism for precise dial indicator placement. With an overall length of 7.04 inches and an arm diameter of 0.47 inches, it provides a stable, low-mass reach suitable for fixture-mounted or magnetic-base setups. This holder is sold without a base and is intended for use with a separately sourced weighted or magnetic base. Machinists, quality technicians, and tool-and-die professionals are the primary users.
The NF3100 is suited for applications in machine shops, quality control stations, and production floor inspection setups where a dial or test indicator must be held in a fixed position relative to a workpiece or fixture. The articulated arm design allows the holder to be repositioned quickly between measurements without losing the overall setup. Compatible with standard base systems that accept an M6 thread connection. The arm is designed for bench-top and fixture-mounted measurement environments in both job shop and production settings.
Designed for use with weighted or magnetic indicator bases that accept an M6 thread connection. No base is included with this holder. Confirm thread compatibility with your existing base before installation.
Installation is performed by machinists and quality technicians. Thread the NF3100 into a compatible base using the M6 connection and hand-tighten before adjusting the arm to the desired position. Use the knob adjustment to set the gross position, then use the fine adjustment to finalize indicator placement. Ensure the base is secured and stable before taking measurements to avoid indicator drift.
