The NOGA MT2200 is a granite base indicator stand designed for use with dial indicators and comparator gages in precision measurement applications. The stand features a flat rectangular granite base that provides a stable, vibration-damping surface for accurate readings. Fine adjustment capability is built in, allowing the user to position the indicator holder with controlled, incremental movement. A holder is included with the stand. The base measures 10.24 inches in length, 5.51 inches in width, and 1.97 inches in height, with the granite construction contributing to a total weight of 15 pounds. This stand is suited for metrology workstations, quality control benches, and inspection environments.
This stand is intended for use in inspection rooms, machine shop quality control areas, and dimensional verification stations where a stable, non-magnetic base is required. The granite material resists wear, does not rust, and will not introduce magnetic interference that could affect sensitive gaging instruments. Licensed metrologists, quality technicians, and precision machinists typically deploy this type of stand for comparative measurement work using dial or digital indicators mounted in the included holder.
Designed as an OEM-style replacement stand for use with standard dial indicators and comparator gages that accept a common indicator holder mounting configuration. Dial indicator and anvil are not included.
Setup and use of this stand does not require power tools or electrical shutoff. Place the granite base on a clean, flat reference surface such as a granite surface plate or machined bench to achieve best measurement results. Secure the indicator in the included holder before making fine adjustments to avoid sudden movement that could damage the instrument. Calibration of the indicator itself should follow the instrument manufacturer's recommendations and applicable metrology standards.
