The NOGA MA60103 is a fine-adjustment indicator positioner holder designed for precision measurement and inspection applications. Built around an articulated arm configuration, this holder provides repeatable positioning of dial indicators, test indicators, and similar gauging instruments. The arm spans 580 millimeters (22.25 inches) in overall length, and the base stands 12.87 inches tall, giving technicians and machinists a wide range of reach over workpieces, fixtures, and machine tables. A magnetic base mount allows quick placement on any ferrous surface. Fine adjustment capability lets the user dial in exact indicator positioning without disturbing the magnetic hold.
This holder is used in machine shops, tool rooms, quality control environments, and maintenance settings where precise indicator placement is required. It suits tasks such as runout checks, surface alignment, bore measurement, and fixture setup on milling machines, lathes, surface plates, and similar equipment. The M10 x 1.25 thread and 3/8 inch clamping diameter accommodate standard indicator shanks. Adapters included with the unit extend compatibility to M8 and M10 thread sizes, making it practical across a range of gauging instruments.
Compatible with standard 3/8 inch and M10 x 1.25 shank dial indicators and test indicators. Included adapters AD1030 (3/8 inch to M10 x 1.25), AD1000, and AD1080 (M8 to M10 x 1.25) extend fitment to M8-shank instruments. Works with NOGA MA Arms MA60003.
Installation is performed by machinists, metrologists, and maintenance technicians without specialized tooling. Place the magnetic base on a clean, flat ferrous surface before activating the hold to ensure full contact and maximum holding force. Confirm the indicator shank is fully seated and the clamping nut is snug before taking measurements. Do not activate the magnetic base on surfaces with coatings, chips, or debris that would reduce contact area and holding strength.
