The NOGA EX2001 is a right-handed deburring countersink blade designed for precision edge and surface finishing in metal fabrication, plumbing rough-in, and mechanical trades. Manufactured from high speed steel, this blade type EX18 delivers consistent cutting performance on hole inner surfaces and outer edges. It mounts to an external RotoDrive holder or a NogaGrip-1 handle, making it a direct drop-in replacement blade for techs already using the NOGA system. Weighing just 0.05 pounds, it is a compact consumable kept in tool pouches or service kits for fast swaps on the job.
The EX2001 suits residential and light commercial applications where clean deburring is required after drilling, punching, or reaming operations. Plumbers, pipefitters, HVAC installers, and sheet metal workers use this blade to remove sharp burrs from drilled pipe holes, conduit knockouts, panel openings, and structural members before fitting connectors or grommets. Its right-handed orientation makes it suited for standard clockwise rotation when used with compatible NOGA tool holders.
Compatible with the External RotoDrive Holder and the NogaGrip-1 Handle as stated by the manufacturer. Designed for use on hole inner surfaces and outer edges.
Installation requires no power tools - the blade is manually seated into the compatible holder per the holder manufacturer's instructions. Ensure the blade is fully locked into the holder before beginning deburring to prevent blade ejection. Wear appropriate cut-resistant gloves when handling or changing blades. Inspect the blade edge before each use and replace if chipped or dulled to maintain a clean, burr-free finish.
