The NIKCOLE MINI-SYSTEMS GIE7SG1.85LC6 is a left-hand solid carbide grooving insert designed for precision grooving and parting operations on CNC lathes and turning centers. It carries a manufacturer grade of C6 and features a 1.85 mm cutting width with a maximum depth of cut of 6 mm. The SG chip breaker geometry helps control chip flow during tight-tolerance grooving passes. At 17 mm overall length and 7 mm cutting height, the insert fits compact mini-system toolholders. It is installed by machinists and toolroom technicians working in production or job-shop turning environments where repeatable groove geometry is required.

This insert is suited for external grooving applications on CNC turning equipment. The left-hand orientation makes it appropriate for operations where the tool approaches from the right side of the workpiece or where specific clearance geometry is needed.
