The NIBCO PRESCOUPLS12 is a 1/2-inch copper press repair coupling designed for press-fit plumbing systems where a standard stop-style coupling is not suitable. Without an internal stop, this fitting allows the technician to slide the coupling freely along the pipe to position it over a repair section, making it the right tool for in-line pipe repairs where both ends of the existing pipe must be engaged. It is installed using a compatible press tool and jaw set, eliminating the need for open flame soldering in occupied or sensitive spaces. Licensed plumbers and pipefitters are the primary installers of this fitting in both residential and light commercial applications.
