The NIBCO NL95H4D is a 2-piece, full-port ball valve designed for commercial and light industrial service where reliable shutoff is required across a broad range of media and operating conditions. The valve features a 316 stainless steel ball and stem trim housed in a bronze body, with PTFE softgoods that provide durable, low-friction sealing. Rated to 600 psi and 400 degrees F, it handles demanding thermal and pressure cycles without compromising shutoff integrity. The 2-inch NPT end connections and 2-inch full-bore orifice maintain full line velocity with minimal pressure drop. A standard lever handle actuator allows quarter-turn operation for fast, positive shutoff. Installed by licensed plumbers and pipefitters in commercial mechanical systems.
This valve is suited for commercial and light industrial process applications including HVAC systems, hot and cold domestic water, low-pressure steam, compressed air, LP gas, natural gas, and aggressive water applications. The full-port design and NPT end style make it a common choice for main-line shutoff service in mechanical rooms, equipment connections, and process piping where frequent operation or media isolation is required. The 5.16-inch inlet-to-outlet length and 3.5-inch top-to-inlet-center dimension should be confirmed against available clearance before installation.
Designed for commercial and light industrial piping systems handling air, gas, water, low-pressure steam, compressed air, LP gas, natural gas, and aggressive water. Compatible with 2-inch NPT threaded pipe connections. Consult applicable system design documents for media-specific suitability before installation.
Installation should be performed by a licensed plumber or pipefitter in accordance with local plumbing codes and ASME B31 piping system requirements. Shut off and depressurize the system fully before removing or installing any valve. NPT threads require appropriate thread sealant rated for the intended media; do not use PTFE tape on steam or gas applications unless the sealant is rated for those services. Confirm the valve flow direction and handle clearance before making final connections.
