The NIBCO I177350 is a 3-inch drain, waste, and vent (DWV) plug fitting made from Acrylonitrile Butadiene Styrene (ABS) with a male iron pipe thread (MIPT) connection. This plug is used to cap or temporarily seal DWV piping systems during pressure testing, system alterations, or rough-in work. The ABS construction keeps the fitting lightweight and resistant to drain-line chemicals. Rated for temperatures from -40 degrees F to 180 degrees F, it handles the thermal range found in residential and light commercial drain applications.
