The NIBCO CE04150 is a 1-1/2 inch PVDF plastic socket union rated for Schedule 80 service. It connects two sections of plastic pipe using a slip socket on one end and a slip-ring female iron pipe thread (SR FIPT) on the other, allowing the union to be broken and reconnected without cutting pipe. PVDF (polyvinylidene fluoride) offers strong resistance to a broad range of aggressive chemicals, UV exposure, and elevated temperatures, making it well suited for demanding industrial and process piping applications. Licensed plumbers and pipefitters are the primary installers of this fitting.
